Synesthesia: Nonsense

Design is often dominated by the way an object looks. This project looked further exploring the connection between vision, touch and balance.

Vision was distorted with a mirror; inverting and changing the orientation of the field of view. The experience forced people to explore the connection between senses in a very fundamental way. They literally had to learn how to explore the world again.

A group was given a very simple puzzle to complete which led to close interaction free of inhibition. This inspired a simple but emotive game design for the family, to bring people together in a very fundamental way. It was named ‘Nonsense’.
